Serving you
in our schools
Modern society is placing huge demands on our children. The drive for high educational achievement can put them under enormous stress. Then there is the rise of mental health problems among our youth. One in four of our teenagers will have been diagnosed with a mental health issue. Many are still coming to terms with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact lockdown had on their education.

Safeguarding is, of course, of vital importance. Community Pastors operating in schools will have undertaken all the necessary training before entering the school gates.

Community Pastors have established a good working relationship with local schools. We work closely with other Christian charities - Schools Ministry Billericay is a good example - to ensure there is a Christian presence and listening ear in our education system.

It’s not just pupils who need counselling. Teaching staff have there own pressures and concerns. A serious issue, such as a pupil taking their own life, can affect a teacher just as much as the kids. And we’re there to offer comfort and cheer on our teachers too.
